"The Hills Center” will be an 18,000 square foot community center. The primary sponsor is Orchard Hills Church but the intent is to provide a safe and welcoming space for the general public. The facility will also include a game area where people can shoot pool, play ping pong, enjoy a game of cards or compete against their friends in various video games. Adjacent to the game area is an amphitheater-style meeting room with complete audio visual capabilities designed to accommodate 200 people for meetings of all types. A large gym is also included which will provide space for activities from basketball, volleyball, and aerobics to large dinners or receptions thanks to the kitchen that will be situated just off of the gymnasium. Upstairs will include office space and classrooms for after-school programs, crafts and even a computer lab. Outside will be a patio area to just hang out or listen to musicians or watch your toddlers play on the play ground while you sip a cup of coffee and talk with friends.

There will be something for people of all ages at "The Hills Center".

  • When will construction begin?
    Construction will begin once additional funds are raised. The construction phase of the project is expected to cost approximately $1.2 million dollars, of which approximately $200,000 has already been pledged.
